Seven CSW students from MCKG competed at the All Stars BJJ Manchester Pro event at Platt Lane Sports Complex on 29th April 2023.
Five of the students made their competitive debut and put in great performances against competitors from around the UK.
Mike Scott competed in the gi, along with Mitch Pays, Neil Gabbitas, and Ian McCluskey, the latter of whom won his division to take gold.
Charlie Jones entered no-gi along with Paul Mawdsley, Mitch Pays, Neil Gabbitas, Lee Johnson and Ian McCluskey. Ian delivered a beautiful submission finish to claim no-gi gold in his division, whilst Paul, Lee and Neil took silver, and Mitch won a bronze medal.
