At Mel Corrigan’s Kali Group, we teach a range of martial arts to suit you, including Kali (stick and knife weapons training), Panatukan (Filipino Boxing), Indonesian martial art Silat, Bruce Lee’s Jun Fan Gung Fu Jeet Kune Do concepts (JKD), STX Kickboxing (Savate Thai Cross Training), Muay Thai (Thai Boxing), Erik Paulson’s CSW (Combat Submission Wrestling) which incorporates MMA, no-gi grappling, catch-wrestling and Greco-Roman wrestling and Erik Paulson’s BJJ system, Combat Submission Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Combat Submission Wrestling
Erik Paulson’s Combat Submission Wrestling (CSW) draws from Kali, Silat, Shoot Wrestling, Jun Fan, Catch Wrestling and other grappling arts. We include hitting and trapping on the ground, choking, arm and leg locks, submissions and takedowns from a standing position.
STX Kickboxing
Savate Thai Cross Training (STX Kickboxing) is an effective hybrid striking system developed by Erik Paulson that utilises elbows, punches and knees from Boxing, Panantukan, Jeet Kune Do, Savate and Muay Thai.
Combat Submission BJJ
Combat Submission Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (CSBJJ) is a gi-based grappling system developed by Erik Paulson (5th degree black belt under Rigan Michado) that utilises the full arsenal of the grappling arts for a dynamic, multi-layered approach to newaza. Learn how to takedown, control and submit your opponent.
Kali
Kali is a weapon based Filipino martial art. Training includes many categories of weaponry and complete empty hand training.

Jeet Kune Do
Bruce Lee and Dan Inosanto researched every martial art they could. Bruce’s Jeet Kune Do system is known for its economy of motion and integration of arts. The areas practiced include Kickboxing, Trapping and Grappling.

Muay Thai
The National sport of Thailand, Muay Thai fighters have been called the “Kings of the Ring”. They may strike any part of the body with kicks, knees, punches and elbows: an awesome offence and constant concentration on defensive Structure.

Silat
Throughout South East Asia, Silat describes a whole host of martial concepts and systems which include the use of bladed weapons, strikes, throws and joint manipulations. From Silat we concentrate on an exact understanding of leverage and body positioning.
Core Fitness
Improve your strength with our core fitness classes run by instructor Emma Corrigan. We use a variety of equipment, from battle ropes to kettlebells, to improve fitness and increase strength.
