At Mel Corrigan's Kali Group, we teach a range of martial arts to suit you, including Kali (stick and knife weapons training), Panatukan (Filippino Boxing), Indonesian martial art Silat, Bruce Lee's Jun Fan Gung Fu Jeet Kune Do concepts (JKD), Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) and Erik Paulson's CSW (Combat Submission Wrestling) which incorporates MMA, grappling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Wigan's very own catch-wrestling and Greco-Roman wrestling.
Based near Wigan town centre, we have classes that cater for beginners, intermediate and experienced martial artists.
Train with like minded people in the evening classes or train 1-to-1 with Mel Corrigan, the senior instructor at the club. Mel is an instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto, Sifu Rick Faye and Sensei Erik Paulson.
We hold mixed martial arts classes for children and teenagers on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Beginner and Advanced mixed martial arts classes for adults involve the use of weapons.
We are currently running Muay Thai Boxing classes on Monday nights.
